EVERYONE'S THE FOOL THEY SEEK
Myrna traveled far and wide. Yet it seemed no matter how far her paws took her, there was some pull taking her back to the woodlands where she thrived and called closest to home. The days she spent wandering the familiar woods, she came to learn how Ordon Village had been destroyed. Upon seeing the devastation with her own eyes, she decided to take it upon herself to request the aid of those around the vicinity to help with returning the village to its former glory. She went to Minish Village and requested aid, which they actually agreed to join her cause much to her surprise. She rallied a small group of Deku from the Deku Swamps to join her cause. She didn’t expect them to even send any of their men to Ordon, but there they were. Myrna would have to give the Deku her thanks one of these days. There were was a stray fairy here and there. She could’ve sworn she saw a Kokiri now and then. What delighted her all the more was the sound of Ordon Goats baaing in the air. A small herd had been discovered and returned back to a makeshift pen until the Ranch could be back in working order. The hustle and bustle of the reconstruction progress had officially gone underway. There were hammers driven into nails. She saw individuals drawing up wooden planks to align them to build houses. Myrna stayed with the Ordon Goats petting them lovingly so they don’t get spooked. @open This thread is dedicated to the relief efforts and rebuilding Ordon Village due to the events of A Home Destroyed. Ain't safe in these woods
| Grargari had traveled with Myrna to show her Ordon, he had also traveled back with her to request aid from the Minish village. During all of this, he had felt useless in this endeavor, like he could be doing something more, but was just sitting back and watching.
His ears flicked openly as he moved about, carrying heavy materials back and forth for the humans to work with. He had ditched his cloak, hat, gloves and shirt for all of this so he could favor a cool breeze every now and again. Rather than overheating due to his thick fur on his back and head, he'd take potential glances or stares. Most people around here should know what a minish was anyways, but sometimes seeing one for yourself, and being able to talk to it was a different story.
He conversed with a human every now and again as he walked back and forth, his tail wagging and a broad smile on his face. He saw Myrna and gave her a smile when he made it to the ranch area, but decided to stay away from the goats. He was a large predator after all, and animals could pick up on that. He didn't want to put the goats on edge by bringing his scent too close to them. "Thought I was smellin n hearin some goats. Where'd ya find em?" he would ask, refilling the bucket of nails next to a couple of builders, nodding in response to the thanks.

Morpheus was curious as to what was happening with the fox minish he met a while back. Stalking? Naaahh, he was simply checking in on a new friend. He trailed her back to the woods where he saw her working feverishly as if she was on a mission to save a life. His assumptions weren’t off the mark.
He watched her gather up a menagerie of animal people gathering to a massive expanse of land burnt down with fallen houses and farm equipment. It didn’t take science to figure out she was helping with rebuilding this village. It was charming to see. The Minish didn’t owe anything to a village where humans lived. So why go out of the way to help rebuild their village?
Morpheus decided to amuse himself and appear before them. This time he prepared himself and clad his entire form with a thick, hooded cloak. Gloves covered his hands from burning, and the hood drawn over his face, but ever slightly exposing his trademark grin. He prepared this time to walking out in the sunlight. "Yo! Is there anything I can help the place out?" he asked looking between Myrna and the taller Minish with her. "I was in the area and this looks like a big project ya got. Thought I could do whatever I could."

As quickly as Morpheus has asked, a young man with long bangs stepped in dropping a sizable bundle of wooden planks into his arms. He was wearing a green robe over his typically black attire. It wasn't the most breathable thing to be wearing for manual labor, but he was more concerned with keeping warm during the night to come. His eyes were soft, but serious, he nodded at Morpheus, flatly insisting, "You sure can! We need as much lumber as we can get going into the frame of the barn; and not just wood -- actual lumber."
Colin turned around, pointing over yonder behind him where a pair of men with saws were carefully sculpting felled trees into planks. He opened his hand as he humbly explained, "We have plenty of people that can cut trees, but if you can saw straight on a professional level -- you're needed more than anyone else. We need four walls and a roof made TONIGHT, and we're not getting that done with just a carpenter and a lumberjack."
The boy rubbed his palm against his forehead, wiping the sweat for his face while trying to mask the stess that was eating away at him. "We need that barn because we've nowhere else to go while we're here... and the livestock need somewhere to live as well. So, if you can't cut 'em, just grab 'em, and haul 'em over to the taskmaster over there."
Colin briefly guestured to a grumpy old man that seemed to be pointing and yelling at everyone. "He's the only architect we could afford on a volunteer budget that had experience with Ordonian architecture -- so, please? Try not to make him any angrier than he already is?"

EVERYONE'S THE FOOL THEY SEEK
Myrna turned her attention to Grargari offering him a smile. She was incredibly happy to have a fellow Minish helping her with this cause. If it wasn’t for his company then she didn’t think she’d have the strength to go to the Minish Village. Not by herself anyway. Now he was helping out with rebuilding the village to the way it originally was alongside many others who came to help. “They were in grove nearby the broken village,” she explained, “They were scared but didn’t stray far from home.”The ravenette’s vulpine ears perked up when she heard another familiar voice call out to her. She turned to see an ambiguous, hooded figure. She was initially confused but the slightest appearance of the ghostly grin on the person’s face allowed her to remember who it was. “Morpheus? What you doing here? Strange one, you are. Didn't take you for type to help place out.” She looked back over to Grargari and made a motion that Morpheus was harmless. “Grargari, this is Morpheus. Friend I made at Lake Hylia. He says he will help.”Her attention was taken by the sound of another voice coming into the group. Colin appeared and dropped logs into the hands of the Twili who offered to help. A fanged grin appeared on Myrna’s face. “ You did ask, Morpheus,” she said with a giggle. She looked back over to Colin and gave him a nod. “We can use the burnt remains of fallen branches and wood from old buildings as charcoal for fire to keep cold away. There are pumpkin seeds, carrots and other seeds that were scattered and salvaged for crops.”She pointed a claw finger over to the baskets carrying the salvaged seeds from the remains of the old garden. They were making good progress. “Thank you everyone. I know we not done, but I’m happy… we get to restore Ordon.”

Ain't safe in these woods
| It was always good when things worked out like that. The goats didn't go far, so that meant less work for them, and it also meant that the goats would have a familiarity with the area, rather than goats that may freak out when moved to another region.
Grargari's ears were standing on attention as the cloaked male came out of the shadows, but Myrna was pretty quick to introduce them to each other. "Morpheus." He said simply, as if trying to get a handle on the name. "Well. If yer a friend of Myrna's then you gotta be friendly, I spose." As he spoke, his ears would relax once more and his tail would swish slowly side to side as he picked up some more materials to continue moving around. Giving Colin a single, friendly wave in greeting.
"It's not a problem Myrna. We'll get this village back on 'er feet in no time." He spoke with a confident smile, as he put down the materials by another worker that needed some nails and what not to help pass lumber up to the workers starting on the roofing of the building.

Morpheus was expecting the other light-dwellers to receive him with apprehension. However it appeared Myrna’s words seemed to have eased their wariness of him. That was incredibly convenient seeing as the fox girl had most of the influence over this operation. Sticking with her and letting others know he was her friend would prove beneficial for not getting attacked. "Nice to meet ya, Grar-Rawr! I dunno what use I can be but I'll do whatever I can. My only chance to have a look at the place while it's in the making. I'm sure this place will be a beauty done"
Suddenly he had logs in his hands placed by a kid with locks the color of the sun. Eh? Wood into lumber? What the hell was that? The Twilight Realm didn’t use wood in their architecture. It was mostly stonework which made this all the more foreign for the Twili. "You're going to need to instruct me, kiddo." he said with a shameless grin. "Never did anything with woodwork." He took the logs over to the carpenter who was sawing away at the increasing pile of logs that needed to be turned into lumber. The blonde kid sure knew his stuff.
"I take it this used to be your home, kid?" he asked looking over to Colin. "Myrna may be in charge of the operation but you're the one who's got the deets and intel of what's gotta be done around here."

The youngster stared at Morpheus as if he had just began speaking a foreign language for half of his last sentence. His eyelashes batted in confusion as his eyebrows furrowed with genuine concern, "Oh; well, that's a shame; but, thank you for coming, regardless. I did in fact live here; and actually, I was actually here -- when it happened. Myrna actually found me in the Deku Swamp after I had just taken refuge from the incident. I was ready for it to be my final home; but she was so quick to pull everyone together... I wouldn't have thought it possible... not this quickly; not so easily."
Colin rolled his shoulders, feeling somewhat self aware at having been brought to attention in such a way. He insisted, "Myrna has done a great deal to arrange an opportunity that I would have sacrificed anything for. I feel like I really owe it to her to be as involved as possible in the restoration effort."
He scratched at the back of his head, eyeing Myrna as she tended to the animals. He smiled softly as his saddened eyes told tale of his bittersweet memories of the ranch the way it used to be. "It's good to know that even if Hyrule forsakes Ordona, Faron will not. I wish I knew of the Minish earlier. Selfless folk like yourselves would have been welcome ages ago."
The young lad nodded at Grargari, squinting slightly at him before asking, "Im sorry, was it Gregory? I hope Myrna has told you that anyone, Man or Minish is welcome to build a home for themselves among us. Ordon will never be what it was before -- but what we do make will be each of ours."
Frowning he looked over his shoulder, uneasily adding, "... well, I'm not really sure I have an authority or anything -- but, if I were mayor or something, that would be my decree. If it comes to a vote, my vote is that everyone working here should be allowed to stay if they please."

EVERYONE'S THE FOOL THEY SEEK
The hum and hustle of people working on each part that would contribute to returning Ordon Village to its rightful state brought Myrna joy. As the time went by, she took care of the small herd of Ordon Goats to ensure the noise and construction didn’t spook the poor things. The makeshift pasture was a humble one but it made due for the time being while the men worked on the barn. A fully blown ranch and acres of green pastures for the cattle will have to wait a generous time until a roof was over their heads. “If nobody else steps up then I see no reason why Colin should not be head of village,” she spoke up, “Or does that not work with human society? Nobody else knows history or how Ordon is preserved but you so I know not how this works.” She looked back over to Grargari and Morpheus. Yeah, they wouldn’t be able to help either since none of them lived or knew anything about the human village prior to their attempts to restore it back to it’s former glory. None of them could help. She turned back over to Grargari when Colin explained that Minish were welcomed to call Ordon home for their efforts. “Open road is home, yes? But it is nice to have a place to come to that welcomes you, yes? To have place where friends can gather and have merry.”Hours were spent exchanging tools of trade working on lumber, nails into wood and strong backs put to work into the barn. By the sun began to set it's path down the horizon, there was a roof over the barn. She saw a variety of working men put their efforts into removing burnt wood, making room for new plots of land and houses for residence. Fences were put up to draw land plots. The garden grounds were sowed and tilled with seeds and ash to nurture and regrow produce once more. Hay was brought in by the stacks by a group of Minish from the Minish Village. Along with food, drinks and provisions to wrap up a day's work. It was then that Myrna moved from her spot sweeping out more ash and dust to draw it elsewhere. She returned back to the men at work and called for their attention. “Let’s have dinner. Food is brought from village. Best not let it go to waste.”There was a plethora of fruit, veggies and herbs mixed within the plates. Seasoned Hylian bass and rice offered to all of the workers. A feast fit for friends helping each other to a goal.

Ain't safe in these woods
its all good. Sidenote: Grar doesn't handle any sort of heat well. At all. | Grargari put his back into the work, providing a strong arm for the villagers without having to turn to become a sled dog. "I'll meet ya there." He told Myrna as he headed off into the woods, looking for a cool creek to run some cold water through the thick hair on his head. Now he was walking back from a break in the woods, hat fanning his face to try and cool off a little more as he approached the villagers. His shirt had been turned into a rag for someone that had gotten injured while working on the barn, so that continued it's function as some sort of wet cloth to drape over their neck to keep them cool.
He honestly didn't mind, his fur was going to cook him alive. His skin was even protesting in a bright red from the intensity of the heat that was trapped in with his shirt and fur. The large male sat down where he wouldn't startle the hylians, his ears sitting at attention as he was offered some kind of meat along with the fruit. He took a bite after thanking the cooks, his cheek full as he chewed quietly, eyes turned up at the sky before looking back at Colin. "I can't ever get over how good yall humans are at cookin fish." He just couldn't do it. The one thing he couldn't cook was any sort of fish. He could barely cook venison, and instead, just made it into some sort of tough jerky that only he and his friends guau and awoo could tolerate chewing on.
