It was like someone had ripped the pages from her story books and summoned them to tear away at reality. At this point, she was willing to believe it, what with the strange events of the masquerade, giant beasts attacking cities, and now the rumors of shadows and light spirits awakening into their world.
She knew magic ran deep in the lore of Hyrule, however she had not expected for something of this caliber to be authenticated in her own lifetime. It was exciting, and yet terrifying. She felt overwhelmed for what would become of their world had heroes not stepped up to fight the beasts.
She was one of few who had sworn to protect her city, and she intended to risk her life to do so, but even those who hide their fear and mask the burdens under a silent gaze found it hard to face the day. Sometimes, she just wished she could surrender into her sadness.
Some time had passed, and she was spending it away from most of the Resistance, as well as anyone she had traveled with recently. Quite honestly, she secluded herself from anyone she may have been acquainted with due to her pride. She didn't want to let anyone see her give into the stress.
So she decided to take a mini vacation--or well, something of the sort. Camping out in the field to get some alone time counted, right? She wasn't really given the time to grieve for her father, or for the future and what awaited them. She still had to set out for the mountain.
So for now, she would go her own pace. With the sun dipping under the horizon and the stars glistening in the plum colored sky, her fire crackled and snapped, smoke dipping up into the air.
notes: open to anyone, but would prefer someone who wants to have a continuous friendship/acquaintance. She needs friends ;-;
