Eltia currently had been training with her sword perfecting her skills along with her bow before she heard word about she was being summoned by the king Ezekiel Griswold. That was one thing Eltia never understood, why was it every 100 years when a Male was born they HAD to be the king of the Gerudos? Bah whatever. Sighing Eltia gave a nod sending the Gerudo who had told her so what was going o n and sheathed her blade before heading off. Eltia could already tell that today was going to be a very long day to say the least. Approaching the door to the main room of the fortress Eltia sighed before knocking on the door before speaking. " Excuse me Ez- I mean Sire, I heard you called for me?" Eltia called from outside his door waiting for his response to give her the okay to enter. Normally, Eltia would just bust down any door she came across but that was just begging for trouble let alone who knew what she would walk into. She would rather just avoid the whole situation and just be given the okay to enter his room. Still, if this was about why she didn't trust him, this was going to take a while. | THE DANGER IS I'M DANGEROUS AND I MIGHT JUST TEAR YOU APART |

I won't ever give up No matter how scared I am
| Ezekiel was tired, ever so tired, but he couldn't sleep. No matter how much he tried to fall asleep, he just couldn't chase the thoughts out of his head. He had spoken with his mother, and the one sister that was always up late, and while talking to them was nice, it just wasn't enough to ease his mind. It doesn't help that he couldn't fully voice his troubles to them either. Instead, he had an idea.
He always tried to work with the ladies that didn't trust them. Certain ones, you could push, others, you give space and time will prove to them who you truly are. As for a new addition to the guard, he had yet to really learn them as well. Life had kept him busy and in reality? He didn't like having guards with sour feelings towards him. He was still dressed in his usual attire, nix the upper body armor he usually wore.
Once the voice from the door sounded, he lifted his head from his hands to look towards the sound. "Yes. One second." He sat up, hopped to his feet and pulled his silver chest armor on, walking to the door and stepping out of his room. He didn't want to bother her with why she didn't trust her. Rather, he just wanted to hear what she has to say. All of the voices of the ladies he led deserved to be heard. "It's nothing serious, I assure you." He spoke, voice solid, but eyes reading of the weariness that accompanies worry.
"Could I ask you to follow me. I'd like to discuss things in the fresh air of the night." He really would. Something about talking to someone that didn't really like you in an enclosed room was very stressful. Out in fresh air though, there was something freeing about the desert breeze. It was the closest thing he'd ever get to feeling the world. With a small wave of his hand, he started walking outside and would lead her to one of the walls between the remnants of guard towers.

Eltia nodded once the king exited his chambers and stated he wished to discuss a few things with her. She had a good idea what it probabally was but she didn't want to be the one that asumed if it was something that was not what she thought. So just remaining silent Eltia followed the king towards the gaurd lookout. Eltia remained silent as the wind blew past her hair she wanted to let this moment of sielince before either one of them broke the ice that much was a gimmie. Whatever the case, Eltia was finally the one to speak. " So...Sire." Eltia started this was the first time she had a convorsation with the king of the her race in a while. She really hadn't been able to trust him but for now she would just worry about what he wanted because she was not really in the mood right now for an argument with the king. " What did you need to discuss with me?" Eltia questioned in confusion. She knew it was the kings job to always look after his pepole but she hadn't been summoned by him once until now. So you had to forgive Eltia but she was a little suspusious. | THE DANGER IS I'M DANGEROUS AND I MIGHT JUST TEAR YOU APART |

I won't ever give up No matter how scared I am
| Zeke leaned his arms against the worn stone of the wall and over looked the desert for a moment, giving a small wave to one of the guards placed next to the door underneath of him. Turning back to the person he had with him though, he straightened up and shrugged. "You're one of the guards, and one I have yet to actually speak to." his fingers squeezed the wall as he leaned back against it, hands on the edge.
"You probably know I didn't exactly get the chance to socialize much with the rest of you guys while we were growing up. But I just like to make sure I know everyone, especially a part of the militia of any kind. Besides, sometimes the ones I don't know have criticisms that can help me improve." It was obvious she didn't trust him. The awkward silence spoke in volumes neither of them could reach with their words.
Motioning his hand to the way down next to them, he looked back to her. "You don't have to stick around. This isn't an interrogation. Before I go asking any sort of questions, I just want you to know that." This was stressful for him, incredibly stressful. One wrong move and even more of the gerudo that didn't trust him would look down on him more. It'd make relations with the Hylians more difficult as well, if rumors got loose. Rumors created by people who didn't like him.

" Sire, with all due respect it takes more than someone just being King to get stuff I don't want to say out of me." Eltia stated with a small chuckle after hearing him mention about the interigation bit. The King was something else to say the least but one thing was for sure, Eltia knew he meant well. Still, Eltia couldn't help but still be a little suspious, how did she know that he wasn't just trying to be freindly so he could repeat what Ganondorf was trying to do those years ago, only time would tell honestly. " What I'm getting at sire is feel free to ask any questions you feel you need to ask we are allies after all its only fair we get to know each other." Eltia explained with a small smile waiting for the King to awnser as she placed her hand on the hilt of her sword, yes they were in the fortrest but that didn't mean for one second for her to let her gaurd down, the desert was not what it used to be. | THE DANGER IS I'M DANGEROUS AND I MIGHT JUST TEAR YOU APART |

I won't ever give up No matter how scared I am
| "I wasn't pressing you for anything you did not want to say, Ms. Lowell." He admitted promptly, but not in a stern tone. But at least the comment about interrogation got a chuckle out of her, which was a good sign. He was getting somewhere, maybe, even if it weren't as far as he would like. Things took time, he had learned early. And the best of all things took the most.
Ganon really fucked things up though, and all of that weight was on him to correct? At least that's what it felt like, if it were anything but true. The weight of what was left of his people was on his back. He felt like every little move he made could potentially be the one and they'd have the Hylian militia stomping down their throats in no time flat. They couldn't afford the enemies. And he couldn't afford to have any of his own people against him. He hoped that the ones against him would see that now is the time to stand together....
but not all wishes come true. He knew that.
He honestly didn't know what to ask her without being too offensive. Fuck it. "So if that's the case. Then may I ask what inspired you to become a guard?" Most of them seemed to do it just cause of how little there was to do in the desert other than fight.
