[attr="class","resetapptext"]A descendant of the Light Sage Rauru, the family line has a long history of not only being tied closely to the Royal Family, but also a history with magic. With Auru, it was much the same, trained early on to become a tutor and court mage for the Royal Family when he was of age. Auru held this role for years and has served under the royal family only until recently. He is one of few people to have an in depth knowledge of the Hyrule Royal family as well as their history.
Auru retired from Hyrule Castle's service and kept his distance from Castle Town. After his retirement, he spent the last few years studying the aftermath of the Hylian-Gerudo war, and what ruins are left from the Gerudo Desert. Since most records of this war were destroyed, he has gathered with other curious researchers known as the Resistance to all find clues that fit the puzzle together. There is know known record of what exactly happened after Ganondorf's "execution", and he intends to uncover what it was.
With the sudden monster attacks, Auru has a bad feeling that something is at play involving where they came from, and he has been doing what he can to track any proof of where they originate. With the sudden outbreak in shadow creatures appearing though, he is beginning to fear for the worst.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Exalt Broadsword: A very old sword that runs in the family. While simply a catalyst for the power which Auru possesses, it holds great sentiment to Auru, and well, it can cut things if used normally.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Gerudo Archives: old texts from the Hylian-Gerudo war that were found in the Castle Library during his time as court mage. He kept the files when he had retired to begin working on his research.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Owl Transfiguration: Being from a long line of sage descendants, Auru possesses the ability to transform into an Owl. In this form, he can fly and see in the dark easier, but that's about it.
