"T-that's not necessary!" Ashei stuttered in surprise at his offer. Her cheeks flushed in apprehension as she looked over his face, hoping this was a joke. There was no way she was going to let him do something as strenuous as create a high quality sword for her. The one she had suited her - it was good enough.
"Really--it's okay! I have a sword already and it was my fathers, and I don't think that I could bear to part ways with it..." she admitted. "It's been in the family for generations, and my father passed it down to me when he was given a sword specially for his position."
As much as the idea of a brand new sword sparked her interest, she couldn't betray the family heirloom like that. It would feel disrespectful on her part, and the sword had already been through so much.
