In the post offices littered in Ordon, Kakariko, and the capital, are mail slots specifically for the Warden Alexander Elessar. There's nothing really fancy about them, he just has several as he's always traveling around Hyrule and he's bound to hit them sooner or later. Usually sooner as he's not putting everything off to go back to one place. Rest assured that given the chance, he will always reply back... usually. Probably.
For convenience and flavor reasons, this is where Alex receives his letters and sends them for the mail courier to send and deliver from.

Dear Alexander Elessar,How are you? I learned this letter writing technique is what people do when they wish to speak with those far away. I hope this comes to you safely. Many days has passed since we met but you were first human to befriend me. I understand life takes us down different paths but I thought about you every now and then. I made many friends after our travels to lake to hunt Hylian Loach. When Ordon Village was destroyed, I rallied Minish, Deku and humans to help rebuild it. We're still looking out for other villagers if they survived. If you hear anything, can you let Myrna know? It is nice to be able to give home back to friends. It surprised me that the forest was quick to answer my request to help village. I hope fortune fairs well wherever you are. I hope this letter is decent to read too. Not used to holding quill.
