[attr="class","resetapptext"]Usually, a child is born because a man and a woman love each other. Though that is not always the case. Perhaps Ashenne's parents had been in love at one point in time. However, her father married her mother out of a sense of duty after getting her pregnant. He was somewhat of a womanizer, a big tough guy who thought he could do no wrong. When Ashenne was born, he was pretty upset that he didn't have a son. Her father was a renown swordsman and he very much wanted to have a son to carry on the family's good name... Perhaps he just learned to deal with the hand he was dealt.
Ashenne grew up always knowing she'd never be enough for her father, as much as she desperately tried. When she should have been enjoying her childhood playing with other children she instead spent it with her father who would beat her with a wooden sword until she could dodge it easily. He toughened her up and made her as close to a man as he could get. And she did get pretty damn good with polearms.
As most people do, her parents grew older and more frail and so her father put down the sword and decided to live the rest of his life peacefully in Castle Town. This gave Ashenne the freedom to do what she wanted... and yet she decided to become a Hylian Knight. At first, she was very disciplined and tried her best to rise in the ranks. Once she became comfortable in her spot, she became... more lazy. She's the type of woman who does the least amount of work for the same gain, or at least she will try to figure out a way to do as little work as possible.
Her laziness has recently become a problem in her personal life as well. She's nearing the age where she believes she should find a good husband and settle down, however... She hides a terrible secret and she never brings any of her lovers to her house. Her dirty, messy excuse of a house...
There aren't a lot of hardships she has to face, but she can feel the winds of change brushing past her.

Clawshot: The logical evolution of the grappling hook. A Clawshot works much like a hookshot, but rather by puncturing to hold on, it uses its claw to grapple and then pull one way or another. With twenty feet of chain, it is excellent for retrieving items that one cannot reach normally or even attempting to disarm someone perhaps.

Crimson Tide: A black and red halberd that has been in her family for a long time. The only reason her father gave it to her is because she did something honorable and joined the Hylian Knights. As an act of possible rebellion against her father, she had Jace L'Arachel enchant it to deal fire damage. It also has a red-colored fog/glow to it at all times~Clawshot: The logical evolution of the grappling hook. [attr="class","resetapptext"]Hylian Shield: A shield adorned with the crest of the Royal Family, granted only to Hylian Knights. It is magically enchanted, allowing it to block weak magical attacks. She really only carries it on "official duties" or when she wants to look more professional and commendable. Otherwise, she honestly thinks it's bulky and doesn't fit her aesthetic.
Winged Monkey: A winged monkey. Yes. Really. He's also green. He tends to be pleasant to most anyone he meets and even minor insults can hurt his feelings. He can even talk, but really is no help in a fight, flying away at the first sign of danger (though he always comes back). He prefers to spend most of his time drinking, so don't leave anything lying around that he can get into!

Dragonsong Dive: She considers this her "finishing move." In a vortext of flames she jumps, high into the sky and sticks her halberd directly downwards. In a spineshattering thrust, the tip of her halberd explodes in a fiery blast.
