Morpheus was still trying to wrap his head around what he just recently did. He got involved in helping out the light realm dwellers. It went exactly as he expected it to go. There was no token of gratitude given, but the monsters that threatened the lives of many had been vanquished. It was the stories written about what true heroes should act like. And it made him absolutely sick he actually became one of those assholes. He had no idea what compelled him to help, but he did.
After the battle was done and over with, Morpheus slipped away unable to do much in the reconstruction of Castle Town. It was difficult for him to work on anything when exposed to the light. He already had enough experience with the daylight than he wanted to keep count of. Yet when he was in the midst of the battle, he felt something he never felt before. A rush. A surge of vitality he’s never had before. It was fun.
He hoped he had another chance to feel it again. Morpheus rested within the shadow of a tree looking up to see the sun setting. The hour of twilight. Wasn’t it what they called it? When they felt the connection between this world and his home? He coudln't deny it had it's charm to it. If only because it reminded him of how beautiful his home was.

SO SAY THE WORD AND I'LL BE RUNNING BACK TO FIND YOU  As the Twili was wrapping his head around saving Castle Town from the dragon, there was another wrapping their mind around their current position. Seyka had actually left home. She didn’t ever expect to make this decision so soon. Maybe in a year or two when she had more experience under her belt as a Hylian Knight and could travel off to embark on crusades but not so suddenly. However with recent events transpiring, she couldn’t stay in one place for too long. The excitement had quickly drained her. So she took a moment of reprieve to rest and gathered her thoughts. She didn’t’ realize until now how much time had passed since she started traveling out to Kakariko. Bright eyes looked up to see the splash of warm colors painting the skies as the sun began it’s descent over the horizon. A soft smile graced her lips as she took it easy on her body. Healing was still going to take some time, but she did her best not to over exert herself. She hummed a soft tune to pass the time. It wouldn’t be long before she had to return back on the road. Ground needed to be covered to Kakariko before night time reached its peak. Seyka had not been looking forward to seeing the state of the mountain village after hearing it was in a sorry state. Let alone what would happen there.

The melding melody hummed into the air was caught by Morpheus’ ears. He looked over to see the one producing the humming. A female light-dweller with the greenest hair he’d ever seen on a person. Where has he seen her before? Ah yes. He remembered! She was the one who was shooting light arrows at the shadow dragon. A little late to the party but the arrival was needed all the same. What was she doing out here? He felt a twitch in his grin, curiosity piqued.
"Well well, what do we have here? Didn't anyone tell you not to wander off by yourself? Bad things happen to people who wander off from safety." Seriously was her hair actually natural? It seemed odd considering most pointed eared light dweller had blonde or brunette hair.
He swooped from the shadow of the tree and into the girl’s shadow. He poked his head out carefully so that he could see her from the ground. It was a rather comical sight. He flashed her a ghoulishly creepy wink. "You're the one shooting light arrows at the dragon during the fight, weren't you? It came real handy." Morpheus gave little regards he just upright started a conversation without proper introductions or telling her to not worry about a creepy shadow person getting cozily close to her. No big deal.

SO SAY THE WORD AND I'LL BE RUNNING BACK TO FIND YOU The sound of her song had ended abruptly. Her bright green eyes widened as the unexpected voice appeared out of nowhere. The greenette turned around trying to find a face to go with the sudden sound. When she finally found the source, she arched a brow up. Her first instinct was to inch away slowly. “Yes, I would normally be on my guard if I felt any indication of what’s around me could threaten me. But I don’t at the moment. I trust my instincts most of the time.” He was coming out of the shadows. This was familiar. Right! The one they called Princess Midna of the Twilight Realm did the exact same thing. She could go in and out of shadows much like this person. “Yes, that was me. Thank you but I wish I could’ve done more and arrived sooner.” The events that transpired was still a sore memory the Hylian Knight could not forget. She shook off the memories to focus more on the unexpected company. “You wouldn’t happen to be the same folk as the one named Midna, would you?” she asked with a tilted head. She didn’t quite grasp the prospect of what was happening with the situation with the shadow people or their leader, but it was deeply rooted in the events that transpired in Hyrule. “You have the same abilities as her.”

She doesn’t feel threatened by his presence? Damn, he was losing his edge. Most people would scream when they saw a head poke out from the shadows. That was losing it's novelty. He took his amusement in the fact he managed to get her to scoot away. "Then you're either incredibly bold or incredibly stupid." He answered back. "Leaning more to the latter than the former." He drew his arms behind his back and grinned back to Seyka. It wasn’t meant to be a pleasant encounter when a random head pops out of the shadows from underneath you and gives you a creepy wink.
"Yeah. We could've used that weapon a lot quicker." But better late than never. The Shadow Dragon was a piece of shit. Though what he experienced during the fight after he destroyed the heart was far more disturbing.
However, the conversation quickly changed the moment he heard Midna’s name came up. His ghostly blue eyes locked down onto Seyka as she explained she knew of the abilities both the Twilight Princess and himself had. "Now how do you know about Midna? Or about what we are in the first place?" he asked. There was an edge to his grin now.

Normally, she would’ve taken offense to the jab but something told her to save her energy for more pressing matters. Squabbling with someone who could poke through the shadows wasn’t one of them. Odd as that sounded. “But I am not wrong now, am I?” she countered. “We could exchange quips and barbed remarks all evening, but the point still stands, you’re not going to hurt me. Not without a true motive at least.”Besides, she thought grimly, it would be boring for someone to hurt an already injured person. The subtle change of expression indicated Seyka was right on the mark. He was another Twili. One of Midna’s people. “A lot has transpired in recent events,” she answered, “Princess Midna arrived in the Capital to meet our Princess Zelda. I happened to be there at the time on duty in the castle when the chaos ensued.” A thought crossed her mind quickly as soon as she ended her last sentence. “Your princess is safe. You have nothing to fear in regards to her well being. She was one of the few who escaped the encounter unscathed.” She was certain he didn’t want to hear everything until he knew his ruler was safe. The tone shift in his voice hinted to her. Seyka’s lack of movement proved otherwise that she wasn’t one of the lucky few.

The moment Princess Midna had been brought up Morpheus quickly dropped the shenanigans. Listening to the grass head explain how and where she encountered the Twilight Sovereign brought a feeling of dread in his chest. He mentally kicked himself in the back of his mind not realizing the princess had been nearby the whole time. Something happened at the castle as there was large blasts of light destroying the structure. His focus was on the dragon at the time.
Morpheus couldn’t help but amuse himself over how convenient it was to meet somebody who knew what happened with his ruler recently, but he wasn’t missing the opportunity to figure out more on what’s happening in this goddamn world. "What happened at the Castle?" he pressed for further details. "You came fashionably late to the party I was part of, but what went on at your princess' abode? Please do tell, miss greenie."
The Twili was glad to hear Midna was safe. Not a scratch was inflicted upon her or so the Hylian woman proclaimed. Those words better be true otherwise he would hunt this girl down and harm her for lying to him. Although it would be a very problematic thing if he started harming the lightdwellers for petty reasons. It was not wise to cause unnecessary strife. Less these people continue to assume the Twili were nothing more than monsters like their ancestors. So that begged an important question to ask. Looking back to Seyka he spoke, "So where is my princess currently? Or seen last?"

Recollecting back to the events that occurred at the castle was not something the greenette wanted to do at the moment. It still left a bitter taste in her mouth. However she knew she had to press on to give reassurance to the Twili. She closed her eyes to steady her breathing as she took a trip back down to memory lane. “It was an official meeting between rulers of the two realms,” she began, “Or at least it was supposed to be. Before any diplomatic discussions could be made, an intruder had infiltrated the castle and played part in destroying a significant amount of the structure… as well as slaying the guards and Hylian Knights protecting the castle.” Needlessly slaughtered was the detail she wanted to put emphasis on. Embitterment was easily found on the easy to read greenette's tone. “The one who caused such destruction was a ghost from the past. A forgotten past to say the least,” she continued on, “She called herself Morrigan Vitalis who swore vengeance against those she felt betrayed by when she was still living. She was hell bent on assassinating Princess Zelda during the ensuing battle with the shadow drake you were fighting with those in Castle Town. Alongside myself, a handful of others did the best we could to protect her, including Princess Midna.”Another breath was taken in, she reopened her eyes to find her palms griping onto the hems of her tunic tightly. She released her grip to put her hands back into her lap. Her gaze returned back to Morpheus. “We did our best to survive the scrimmage… but my princess was gravely injured. I took a beating thus limiting my mobility for the time being. Just when things looked bleak... Believe me, it was getting there as a dark creature who looked like a Sheikah woman but influenced by darkness came after Midna... we were saved by another ghost. The one we call the Hero of Time. What happened afterwards... It remains much a mystery to me.”She paused for a moment to remember once more on the last moments she saw Midna. Strangely enough, it was a mystery to her when her memory returned working for her. “She was last seen accompanying a human male by the name of Alexander Elessar. That was the last I saw of her and that's when my companion and I went out to assist with finishing off the shadow dragon. Is this suffice for you?”
