The bushes rustled again, then once more to round it off to thrice, before a pair of rabbits darted out from underneath them and ran past the Twili. It only took a moment for laughter to be heard from a fair distance above him, and should he glance up, he'd find a young woman sitting in a tree with a red hooded cloak drawn around her figure for warmth. Peeks of a light brown tunic and white leggings tucked into matching brown boots were visible underneath.

She smiled, tipping her face to the side, and leaned back more comfortably against the tree. "Shame, really. Rabbit stew is delicious when you use freshly prepared meat." A pleased hum escaped her. Even in the darkness, her eyes were strangely bright, and seemed to glow in the dim lighting provided by the moon above.

"Where do you hail from, child?" came the soft inquiry from above. "The magic you use is quite peculiar. Do you have a master to train you or are your arts self-taught?"

The girl in the red cloak watched curiously, amusement clear on her features. A Twili, he said? How long had it been since she heard stories of those creatures, old whispers from since-reborn forest guardian? To see one in the flesh felt rather intriguing, if not unsettling. Further looking into the situation needed to be done.

Sliding gracefully from the tree, she fell into a natural bow, her smile ghosting in the moonlight. "You are easy to offend, I see. That was not my attention, sir. You must forgive me." She paused, that smiling growing into a smirk. "Experience has taught me that those quick to take offense tend to try to overcompensate. I mean you no harm tonight, though I can understand your fears. The forest isn't as peaceful now at night as it once were."

For all intents and purposes, she looked like a teenager. Her body was on the slender, smaller side, with a modest height meeting between five and six feet. Ordinary colored hair, rounded ears - a human, then, for anyone who observed. Fellow fae would feel the difference, the heavy magic thrumming around her and pulsating through her veins, but she doubted the Twili would. No need for her to go on the defense.

"But, to be fair, twenty-four years is not that grand of the passage of time. It is but a modest trifle." Her laugh was light, filled with good-natured intentions. "My name is Lycoris. I am, embarrassingly enough, a bit lost right now, and the night grows colder. Would it be a bother if we share a fire and a meal, and attempt to find amiable ground?"

Settling down by the fire, the brown-haired girl drew her legs up to her chest and wrapped her arms around her knees, intently watching the boy (man, she mentally corrected) while he worked. The mixture of herbs and spices certainly smelled good, and if it tasted anything close as the smell, the rabbit would hit the spot nicely.

"Do you like berries? I gathered some wild blackberries during my walk. A few raspberries, but nothing major in that regard." With him offering meat, the least she could do was offer some of her own supply. "Ah, some bread too. But that was bought in town, not found. It'd be interesting to find wild bread growing on a tree." Yet another impossibility. Phooey!

But there was something odd.

"Your name, it is the Magnificent Fress?" She blinked twice quickly. "Or is it the Magnificent Sans? You've given me two titles now. Is there one you prefer over the other?"
