[attr="class","resetapptext"]Vitani was born into a clan of assassins - ones that followed the Royal Family of the Twilight Realm for generations. They were often handpicked to serve the King or Queen as their personal assistants to do whatever bidding they needed done - her father was one of those people.
Though she was still quite young when she traveled with the clan, she learned very quickly, proving to be a prodigy among them for her young age. Many of them were excited to learn of her ability to learn and predicted that she would one day be the next chosen Assassin.
Things, however, did not go quite as planned. Before Vitani would even become of age, an unknown group of interlopers had ambushed and murdered every member of the clan except for herself and her father, who was gravely injured. He had managed to escape and keep her in hiding so that she would not be found. He had told her to run as fast as she could - to go back to the Twili Plaza and to warn the Royal Family of what had happened.
She did exactly that - ran for her life. She was still just a little girl, but she knew how to fend for herself. Anything or anyone who would try to threaten her wouldn't be able to incapacitate her easily. Thankfully, she had made it before the need for her skills was necessary.
After warning the Royal Family of what had happened, she decided to stay close to the main city to avoid any danger. She continued her training, hoping that one day she would be able to become the next assassin - however she still does not feel she is ready for it, wanting to prove herself by overcoming a difficult trial. She is very particular about her particular style of magic and combat - relying entirely on all senses but her sight, feeling it makes her stronger and not to intake all situations at face value.
Until then, she has decided to enter the World of Light, following closely behind Midna before taking off and exploring for herself and finding anything that may be useful. Currently, she is making herself comfortable by acting as an information broker, getting any and all information she possibly can so that she may later give updates and helpful information to Midna.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Book of Chaos: This book was handed down to her by her father - devoted to the many gods and deities who walked among the realms with chaos, such as Majora, Demise, Fierce Deity, etc. This gives her the knowledge of many beasts, demons, and monsters that may walk the earth, giving her an idea of their weaknesses, strengths, and motives.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]+ Shadow Meld: Twili, being denizens of shadow, can freely meld and merge into other people's shadows, allowing them a way to hide from others.
+ Raven Shadow Beast: Vitani is able to turn into the form of a raven - slightly larger than the size of the actual light realm bird. This form can fly and attack with its sharp beak and talons.
- Weak to Light: All Twili are vulnerable to light. They take extra damage from light elemental attacks, and cannot survive in sunlight.
