When Midna left the Twilight Realm to face an unknown evil, the Twili Messengers decided to send out one of their own to find and guard their princess. Fress immediately volunteered, hoping to get to know the princess better and perhaps win her affection. Unfortunately, everyone else doubted his ability to make it out alive and turned him down. However, the Twili Sorcerer actually stood up for his apprentice and used his authority to convince the Messengers to allow Fress to take the job.
While Fress was packing up for his adventure into Hyrule, The Royal Sorcerer offered the young apprentice a test to prove his worth and a reward well worth the struggle to pass.. If Fress survives for 23 days in the Light Realm, the Sorcerer would give his title and rank to him. Fress happily accepted the challenge and, before you can say "mweh heh heh", The Magnificent Fress was off to Hyrule. Now, he is searching for his beloved Princess Midna and hoping she will accept his protection. Even a guy like Fress knows how temperamental his princess can be.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Orphaned when he was just 3 years old, little Fress was taken in by the Twili Royal Sorcerer as his apprentice. Despite having dead parents and his current guardian never really acknowledging him as more than a apprentice, Fress has maintained an air of innocence and kindness throughout his life. Unfortunately, this has led to most other Twili to see him as a fool. Because of this, Fress does not have very many friends in the Twilight Realm. Since he was allowed to join the Twili Messengers, Fress has often been considered the weak link. As such, he was not given very many chance to improve his fighting skills. However, not being brought to most fights has led to him having spare time to improve his magic skills, collect the mushrooms needed for his Mercy Bombs, and even invent a special Twili ice cream flavor he calls Krazy Kookie Dough.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Mercy Bombs - smoke bombs that release spores from a fungus found in the Twilight Realm known as Spoonful of Sugar. When inhaled, these spores dull the senses and cause enemies to more friendly. They take ten minute to fully take effect.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Shadow Attack - By reshaping the shadows of inanimate objects, Fress can create projectile attacks in the shape of stars the size of his hand. He can only cast three of these at a time.
Shadow Attack upgrade 1 (75 Rupees):
Now able to shoot shadow attacks in the shape of Oswald the Lucky Rabbit's head out of his fingers like bullets. Can only shoot six at a time.
Shadow Meld: Twili, being denizens of shadow, can freely meld and merge into other people's shadows, allowing them a way to hide from others.
Shadow Beast: Fress' Beast Form
Weak to Light: All Twili are vulnerable to light. They take extra damage from light elemental attacks, and cannot survive in sunlight.
