[attr="class","resetapptext"]Arell is the daughter of a farmer and his wife. Although she was born in humble circumstances, the girl was noted to have the rare talent for magic at a very young age. She could hear the callings of people from miles away, and her ears were filled with the melodies of her ancestors- songs and secrets she could have never known. As such, Arell left her home at a very young age to live with an old family friend who happened to be an alchemist named Lanto in Hyrule Castle Town. There, she studied under him and honed her gifts.
As the years passed, Arell garnered some attention for her talents. Her mentor Lanto was somewhat well known in his old age. He often provided aid to the Hyrule Knights in the form of alchemical medicines. While Lanto wasn't capable of turning metal to gold, the old man was renown for being able to heal any ailment that crossed his path. He took Arell under his wing to help her hone her talent and pass on his skills.
Now, as Lanto finds his shaking hands almost too feeble to preform his duties, he has begun the final- and longest chapter in Arell's training. He has sent the girl out to gather one of every herb found in Hyrule. She must gather each one and make a potion with it using the knowledge he taught her. Only then will he pass on his alchemical grimoire so she may take his place.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Hearing Heart: Arell's magic has allowed for her to be able to tune into the world and the magic around her through the usage of her senses- specifically her hearing. She is able to fine tune and hear words being said miles away. Should she know a single phrase or word to listen out for, she may be able to hear it no matter where it is said. Finally, Arella is capable using song to track others by singing of a person and listening for the enchanted words to “bounce” off of the person from several miles away.
Alchemy: Arell is trained as an alchemist. While she's still a student, the young girl is able to treat various injuries. Her training has focused on medicinal alchemy for both the body and soul. As such, while she is incapable of forming gold from metal, Arell is able to create potions and treatments for ailments both mystical and physical.
