Scylla's childhood was a fairly intriguing one, for her mother had developed a fondness for traveling once her child had reached the point of developing functional limbs. Her earliest memories were that of occupying a plethora of rivers and small bodies of water - and of strange sights and sounds that they had encountered as they wandered in a seemingly random fashion. Her education was a hastily put together one, but her mother managed to teach her of their world and the basic knowledge required to function within it. Scylla proved intelligent enough to make do, listening intently to her mother and proving blessedly obedient and dependent toward her maternal figure prior to her maturing into an adolescent. Her desire for independence struck at an alarmingly young age, but she didn't foolishly surrender to her wants, instead forcing herself to practice some semblance of patience as she contemplated her ability to survive within the wilds.
The world was dangerous despite its splendor, after all. Instead of concealing her desires, she exposed such feelings to her mother, whom considered them with care. When her thirteenth year came, her mother pressed a weapon into her hand and went about teaching the girl how to defend herself. It required sometime to competently wield a spear - and even longer to master the art of effectively harming another. Her mother erred in avoiding the topic of self-restraint, thinking it best that her daughter dispatch something or someone of offense if they dared to approach her with malicious intent. Scylla came to adore her spear, making use of it to hunt or fight as her mother observed her progress closely. Eventually, her mother granted her child her blessing and urged her only to remain safe.
Her seventeenth year proved interesting. She discovered both her faults and talents as she wandered, naturally halting at locations which possessed a hefty quantity of water. Accustomed to moving about, she took on a profession that would allow her to continue to move about with issue - hunting. Prey whom occupied both land and water proved vulnerable to her tactics as she sought to dispatch her targets. She carved into them and sold their skin and meat so to gather rupees and improve upon her inventory. But her startling desire for more led the woman to seek items of greater value that could potentially be sold for higher process. There was very little need for her to take on criminal behavior, but she found the risk vs reward quite tempting as she weighed her options.
In the midst of her endeavors to further involve herself in such a career she lost her eye. It was an unfortunate thing, but it did little to deter her from taking on such a path. Scylla found it thrilling - unexpectedly, so - to discard her morals and instead focus upon the thrill that came about from becoming a participant in the black markets. She became callous and selfish in nature as her personality fully developed as adulthood came about - and presently proves to be an unpredictable someone to associate with.

traditional zora spear: a spear gifted to her by her mother. it originates form the zora domain and has been within her possession for many years. it's nothing special, and has been mended by a blacksmith many times over.
carving knife: only useful for skinning and carving into meat.

eye patch: a durable piece of material which effectively covers her damaged and blinded eye.

+ water mastery: the zora's incredible flexibility makes them so adept underwater that there's nothing short of another water based creature that can match them. any member of another race fighting a Zora in the water is just not going to win, not without luck.
+ bladed fins: all zora have rather sharp fins. When need be, they can extend them and use them as bladed weapons.
+ electrical barriers: one of a zora's biological functions is to erect a barrier made of electricity. while it can give a painful shock, it can't actually stop any physical attacks. it can however, disintegrate minor magical projectiles.
- weak to ice: zora are warm water fish, and as a result, take extra damage from ice based attacks.
