Three points to her, one point to him. A thought briefly crossed her mind - was the King of the Gerudo interested in men? - before she pushed it off quickly. The only challenge that particular issue would rise came in the line of reproduction, and really, his women were capable of finding their own seed without his assistance.
Besides, his youth spoke loudly about him. Most boys his age were still looking for adventure and fun. The desire to settle down with a woman and start a family tended to come in the early to mid twenties. Or so she gathered from the happy couples that pranced around castletown merrily.
"Camping is... um. Not something I like very much. The entire thought of 'roughing it out' makes my skin crawl." Agitha glanced away to hide the scowl on her face. No, certainly not a fan of that particular passtime. "But I do believe in ghosts. I have seen a number of Poes in my life." A pause, followed by a smirk. "Strangest thing I've eaten? A bug." Might as well make it easy for him this time around to hopefully bring their points closer together. The princess of the insect kingdom eating a bug? Bah! Unheard of!

I won't ever give up No matter how scared I am
| Zeke shifted his position in the sand, stretching his legs out in front of him, the sand rolling down the dune from where he had shoved it. "Didn't you say you were the princess of the insect kingdom?" He furrowed his brows, looking at her. "I.. I refuse to believe you'd eat a bug." Was she handing this one to him? Or did she do that strange thing most kids did and find random things to shove in their mouth in order to discover their edibility? Brushing that thought off, he put his hands on his legs, leaning forward.
"I prefer the sunset, the desert lays lower on the opposite side of the horizon. So it turns a brilliant gradient of deep purple to pink and orange. The darker the sky gets, the more stars you can see in it." He explained, in fact, he was watching as the sun continued to set, filling the skies with vibrant colors. "My hair? It's a nightmare. It holds heat way too much, and it's nearly impossible to tame it." He passed the easy lie to her. If his hair really did bother him, he was more than capable of cutting it. His hair was easy to manage, and the ladies always made sure he could tuck his hair into a bun or make a ponytail out of it if it got too unbearable. "A goron? I've never actually seen one in person, but from what I've heard? I'd be screwed if they got too close to me. I honestly think a goron could best me in a neutral fight."
"Cats or dogs? Do you prefer tea or juices? Fruits or vegetables?" He continued trying to keep his questions neutral, avoiding any question that may offend a lady.

Three to two! The gap between them closed a tiny bit!
While she didn't outright reply to her called out lie, she nodded her head and instead focused intently on listening to his answers. Unfortunately for Agitha, her slip up fully evened the score to three and three. "Um. You prefer sunrises, then?" Her brow furrowed in thought, but she shook it off quickly. Oh, rats. She'd need to be extra careful now.
"Cats, definitely. Dogs are a bit too needy for my tastes. Cats at least are mostly independent." As long as they didn't hurt her flying, crawling, or hopping friends, she didn't mind them at all. "Tea over juice. Juices take too much work! With some tea, it is just leaves stewing in water." Now came the tricky one. "Vegetables are better than fruit cooked, but fruit is better raw. So... vegetables win it for me."
It wouldn't be an easy lie to pick this time around. She looked forward to it~

I won't ever give up No matter how scared I am
| He shook his head in response to her guess and gave her a simple 'nah ah'. He kept his legs out stretched, keeping the three to three score marked down in his head. "Uhh. You like juice better than tea?" He guessed in turn, eyebrows furrowed. "You just seem to like the sweeter things."
He continued watching the sunset, feeling the chill of the desert night begin to seep its way into the air more and more as the sun fell lower and lower on the horizon. "You can't actually drown in quicksand. The deadliest part of it is that it has an uncanny ability to trap humans once they're in to a certain point. But if I had to choose. I would rather die from falling, than die from a quicksand related death." Quick sand wasn't a fun thing to be stuck in. Once it got a hold of you, it was difficult to escape without help. Never panic, always stay calm. If you disturb it and it gets your foot, stop moving and think. One of the first rules the children in the desert learn. "I can perform magic on my own, yes. Just some simple stuff, nothing extravagant. And it gets hot enough that we can cook eggs on brick when we leave them out in the sun to heat up."
He wasn't going to make it easy either!~

Agitha resisted the urge to smirk. "Sadly, I do prefer tea. But if I prefer tea because it is less work to prepare than juice, would I really rather take the time to cook vegetables up and make them taste better, when a piece of raw fruit is easily grabbed and consumed?" Her cooking skills weren't bad, not by a long shot, but it took effort to prepare things for just herself. Only when she cooked for others did it feel remotely rewarding.
To be honest, she'd rather fall to her death as well. The thought of being crushed by the pressure of the sand, or running out of air, or anything like that sent a shiver up her spine. It bothered her that she'd most likely be the worst to panic and sink faster, resulting in her own premature demise. Ugh!
That left the other two. Both sounded like the truth, but one sounded more like the truth than the other did. "You can't do magic," she wagered, "because I am positive you could fry an egg out here in summer." The chill of the night never hid the heat of the day. MADE BY MEULK

I won't ever give up No matter how scared I am
| "Hey. I dunno." He said with a shrug, a half smile and eyebrows still raised. She had a good point, but sometimes, preferences could lead to someone taking more time off to make something than they would for anything else. Shrugging it off, he shook his head to her answer. "Nope. I'd rather fight a quicksand death than fall. I'm not afraid of heights, but I have an incredible fear of falling. We're raised to deal with quicksand too, so at least I'd go out trying to survive rather than just falling helplessly."
"I can show you one of the spells to prove it if you'd like? Just one though, I can't even look at the other one without blinding myself." He shrugged, recrossing his legs now that he had stretched them out. The witches of the desert made sure that he could use a couple of spells his self without having to depend on his staff for an attack. Looking back at the fortress, he watched as guards swapped out their shifts, the rest heading inside to get their rest.
At least they were doing their job. Even if the odds of something attacking them were low. There were no signs, from where he could see, of monsters heading in to try and attack the fortress.

"Huh... you don't look like the magic casting sort of fella," Agitha remarked in awe. What she knew of magic honestly wasn't all that much, and outside of people using items infused with it (like her parasol), the limitations and abilities of natural spells were beyond her.
"Show me, show me." Her eyes danced in the darkening light of the desert. It seemed that, temporarily, the game had been forgotten. And it would most likely end up staying that way too, for her awareness of the world around returned full force. She couldn't stay out much longer unless she wanted to spend the night wandering the desert aimlessly.

I won't ever give up No matter how scared I am
| This would probably have to be the last thing he did with her. Unless she was brave enough to step into the fortress and wait until night fall comes to an end, she'd have to start walking soon to reach the high, rocky walls of the desert and leave... however she got in here. He doesn't know, he's never physically been all the way out there. "Sure. Its not really impressive though. It's just something the witches taught me to help protect myself." He stated as he stood up and backed the proper distance away from her.
"You might wanna cover your eyes, just a bit. It's a wind based thing." He warned her, watching and giving her ample time to protect her eyes however. Taking a deep breath, Zeke remembered everything the witches told him and summoned a short burst of winds around him, kicking up sand from the force of it and shoving it away from his body. It wasn't much to look at, but it was enough to force or try to force lighter enemies back from him to give him space.
"Yea, that's it. The other one is bright flash of light and it's ... incredibly painful to look at in my experience." Oh the irony that he could hurt his self with one of his own protective spells. He was still young obviously, and he still had a lot of learning left to go in this life.

Having taken a moment to shield her eyes, Agitha watched in a mixture of wonder and intrigue. "You're on your way to learning some interesting things." She recalled not too long ago coming across a purple-haired human and a green-haired Hylian, once who showed a connection to wind arcane as well. How funny it was to encounter another like this.
A few more minutes of conversation passed by before the hybrid, fearing her time had ran out, rose to take her leave. She promised to return one day to continue their game, but it would most likely be some time before she kept her word. After all, the capitol needed all the help it could get, and she needed to ensure her home was back in proper order.
It'd be a long healing process for everyone involved in that attack. MADE BY MEULK
