[googlefont="Playfair+Display"] [attr="class","nomistake"]The girl gave a slow nod while the fairy beneath her still warily wielded his hefty fork, but he seemed to be relaxing just a touch. He was going back to his sweetcake now, and he shoved a piece in his mouth before he started to mumble under his breath. Tisua raised an eyebrow and looked down. "What was that?""I said--" Seri swallowed his sweetcake. "I said he can come if he makes good food."Tisua rolled her eyes and smiled up at the ceiling. You can address him directly, you know." She glanced at the Goron and looked between the two males. She looked contemplative for a moment. "Yeah, we can go in the morning. You can hunt for more things at night, but unless we find an alchemist short on stock when we get to Castle Town, we'll just be doing unnecessary work. Best to get there first." She leaned back and smiled knowingly. "So, since we'll be traveling together... we know that Dazugo's from the mountain... what about you?" She asked, motining at Yugo. Seri, meanwhile, was staring intently at Dazugo from his plate.

Yugo relaxed into his chair, looking relieved to hear the newly-formed party had some spare time before they set out on their journey. He 'hmm'd curiously and cocked his head at Tisua when she asked her question, raising a hand to stroke at his beard-less chin. "What about me? Indeed." He shot her a wry smile, waving his other hand. "Since you asked, I'm actually -from- Castle town. Though I've spent most of my life out in the fields working with the Wardens, so I haven't been there since I was a young kid..."A strange demeanor came over him as he said this, and his eyes became unfocused for a moment - like he was looking past the others around him, fixing his gaze on some intangible thing only he could see. He was quick to shake his head and come back to his usual laid-back expression, rubbing the back of his neck with a hand. "I s'pose if things haven't changed too much in my absence, I could show you all around." Assuming I haven't forgotten half the bloody things about the town since I left, anyway... No, it's probably still the same as I remember it.Leaning forward, he steepled his fingers together and looked over them at Tisua and Seri, fixing the pair with an inquisitive look. "How about sharing a little bit about yourself? If you want to, that is," he gave a shrug that essentially said 'I won't push - but now I'm intrigued.'

Dazugo was pleased that Non-Gorons had the respect to call him by his given name. The fact that everyone had decided to settle down and tell stories made him felt more comfortable; although he hoped that sometime soon he could talk to his newfound traveling companions out in the open.
No questions had been asked of him; which to a Goron was a sweet pleasure to be savored. Not-Gorons often settled things with their words, instead of their actions. It was understandable that he would have to sit through something as uneventful as appropriately named 'small talk.' It was likely to be boring, but waiting to see what could be gleamed from constantly babbling to each other intrigued Dazugo.
He began shrugging off his pack, his eyes wandering as he ground dust a handful of chalk against a worn slab of shale. He coated the rock in mineral dust evenly before snapping the solid sediment between his massive molars. The violent cracking of his chewing could be heard through the window as he joined as naturally as he could into the conversation. "Yes! Tell Dazugo and Yugo story, how young girl comes to live with tiny squeak-man!"Dazugo was refering to Seri with his question, struggling to hear a voice so small-- but noticing it all the same. Dazugo worried that by traveling with someone so tiny, he might accidentally sit on the poor fellow. Hopefully that wasn't something that came to pass. Hopefully that was something he could avoid by learning more about both the Fairy, and his much larger friend, Tisua.

[googlefont="Playfair+Display"] [attr="class","nomistake"] "Squeak-Man?!" The fairy retorted indignantly. "Just because I don't have a voice that could level a house? Bugger that sh--!"Tisua passively placed one pinky finger on the fairy's back, near the base of his wings and shoved his face and torso down into his sweetcake. She eyed him critically for a moment, as if daring him not to mind his manners again, stopped pushing against his back and she looked back at the other two. "Who, Seri? We've always been together, ever since I was small" She waved a hand dismissively. "I'm from south of the field, the forests. Served for a little while in my people's guard service, and then our leader gave me permission to travel and leave, so I did. Seri came along because, well--"Seri wiped his face off, clearly disgusted, and he interrupted. "I came cause what the hell choice did I have?" He grunted. "I've been with her her whole life, what would she do without me?" Tisua shrugged and smiled coyly in reply. Seri grunted and looked back up at the other two, clearly still offput. He flew up to Tisua's shoulder and crossed his arms. "Anyway... been working as a mercenary for the last seven years or so since I left home, and that was that." The short woman leaned back and put her hands behind her head. "Don't ask me to give you any tours around my home though; I'd be hard-pressed to find it again unless I had to. It's been too many years, and most of my service was spent on the edges of the forest anyway."

"Drat," Yugo snapped his fingers, putting on a slightly crestfallen look, "And here I was thinking a nice stroll through the woods would be a good next destination after we hit up Castle Town." He sighed for effect, not really all that dismayed to hear that they wouldn't be touring the wooded home of the Kokiri any time soon. "Ah well. I have a feeling I'd relate more to the Gorons anyway, what with their penchant for crafting and smithing," he motioned towards Dazugo with a nod of his head. "Still, though. To see a Goron come down from his home on the Mountain, and a Kokiri and her Fairy having left the forest... I heard a few stories about such things when I worked for the Wardens, but to actually -meet- people like you in person? I never quite expected it, to be honest." The half-Hylian looked between the three of them, seeming rather happy to have met such people. In all his time traveling Hyrule - which, he admitted, wasn't very much time at all - he had never expected to meet any of the races that usually kept to themselves in their far-away homes, in the rocky outcroppings of Death Mountain, or the sun-shaded canopies of the Kokiri forest. Even his father hadn't ever admitted to coming across anybody such as his new traveling companions, and the man had made a living out of treading the earth and righting wrongs. It was another thing that made Yugo excited, that he was experiencing something fantastical that didn't happen every day. He laughed a rich, genuine laugh, finding that he enjoyed this feeling of solidarity with his new friends. "Some day, though, I would love to see where my companions came from. I can only imagine how different your homes are, from mine and from each others'." Indigo eyes flitted between them, bright and shimmering with genuine enthusiasm. "Dazugo, how about when you become a great and successful chef in Castle Town, we head back up to Death Mountain and celebrate? You can regale me with tales of when you lived up there - I'm sure you've collected a lot of them over a hundred-plus years!"

Dazugo grinned with excitement, knowing that it was his turn to tell a story. His fingers wrapped around the frame of the window. The window creaked, threatening to buckle as the massive Goron leaned on it to stick his face through.
"Dazugo will not wait! Dazugo will tell story now!" Dazugo's fingers tapped impatiently as he immediately leaped head first into telling a story like they were sitting around a midnight camp fire."Dazugo was there, on the mountain. Dazugo was with friends, Tege, Tolok and Mada. These Gorons enjoy many good times this day, rolling down hills and eating the good rocks -- but the good times this day came to a stop, because Tolok says that Tolok is the fastest roller on the mountain. Dazugo did not think that Tolok was the fastest -- so Dazugo had a race down the hill with Tolok."That was when Dazugo spread his fingers, fanning them out for dramatic effect as his eyebrows raised for added tension."There a was long time for rolling, and Tolok was rolling very fast. Tolok was first to the bottom of the slope, Dazugo was the second. Tolok said that Tolok proved that Tolok was the fastest roller. This made Dazugo very angry."Dazugo's fingers curled around the window sill as his brows furrowed. Apparently the emotions Dazugo felt at the time were still fresh in his mind, regardless of how many decades ago this event may have been."So this was when Dazugo wrestled Tolok, and Dazugo rolled Tolok off cliff. Tolok was stand-rolling for a long time after that, until he was at the bottom of the mountain. Tolok ask why I wrestled him -- and Dazugo is saying to him,"
"TOLOK NOT FASTEST ROLLER ON THE MOUNTAIN, BECAUSE HE IS NOT ON THE MOUNTAIN!"
"BO-HOHO! BO-HOHOHO-HO-HO!" At this point, Dazugo had fallen from the window sill, rolling around on his back like a flipped turtle as he guffawed heartily, expecting his companions to revel in what was clearly the sharpest peak of Dazugo's wit. words - @tisua @yugo - notes (C) ELLIE @ GANGNAM STYLE
