[attr="class","resetapptext"]Volga's early life was not something of note. In fact, he cannot recall most of it. Whether this is a conscious decision or a result of his "awakening", he isn't certain. He knows the general outline though. Born to a human family as a human himself (under a different name), he trained with the sword and became part of the "Wardens", a sort of militia/adventurer's guild run by the humans of Hyrule to aid in defending settlements and handling monster problems. He doesn't remember many of the assignments he did with the Wardens, as much like everything else, it didn't really have much meaning for him. But it was something he did. However, that changed with one assignment that he remembers well.
The Gorons were having issues with the Lizalfos and other occupants of the Eldin Caves, and he was sent to work with the Gorons in order to handle the issues and allow mining operations to resume. Upon arriving in the Goron village, he received more information,
and along with it a tale both legendary and unsettling among the Goron people. The tale of Volvagia, Foe of the Goron, Dragon of Eldin; an ancient dragon slain long ago by the Hero of the Goron with the aid of the Megaton Hammer, buried deep within the caverns of the Eldin mountains. Supposedly, something related to Volvagia was causing a stir in the Lizalfos, making them much more vicious and proactive than usual. Though he did not mention it, the tale of Volvagia caused images to appear in the human's mind, images of a great red serpent like being breathing fire and even consuming fallen Gorons.
Volunteering to attempt an infiltration of the mountains in order to discover the cause, he ventured forth into the caverns on a mission of his own. A tugging sensation upon his very soul called him into the caves, deep within the labyrinth, and eventually brought him to a conspicuously empty cavern. Unlike many of the caverns though, the ground was more dirt than rock, and on instinct he began to dig. Removing clumps of dirt one at a time by hand, beginning to bleed from sharp fragments of stone hidden within,
he dug. Till eventually, after what easily felt like a day of digging, he found it. The ancient buried remains of Volvagia, And the answer became abundantly clear to him at that point.
That was the moment he adopted the name Volga.
Carving up the remains of the draconic corpse with his greatsword, Volga hauled the hide and bone with him to another part of the caverns. It was not an easy task, one that required time and patience, and it took its tole on his body and his sword. That's without mentioning the inevitable fights with Lizalfos as he moved in more populated portions of the cavern. Through this trial though, it forged him, quite literally in fire at times. It changed Volga from the human he was to the dragon knight he is today.
The rest, as they say, is history. He lives in his caves now, respected by the denizens of the caves and Goron alike, yet left alone by both. Just the way he wants it to be. He was home.

[attr="class","resetapptitle1"]WEAPONS
[attr="class","resetapptext"]Spear of Volga: A great spear forged in the flames of the Eldin Caves using the long-buried remains of the ancient dragon Volvagia. With a blade made of the fang, and the shaft made from bone and scale-covered hide, it is a durable weapon that serves the dragon knight well. Much like the armor, the spear has inherent abilities within it, though he has yet to train enough to harness this power.
Warden's Broken Greatsword: A remnant from Volga's days before being a dragon knight. Though it was clearly once a larger sword, the blade is broken and worn from age and use. It is not cleanly broken, with a portion of the remaining blade sticking out further than the rest. At its longest point the remains are as long as a longsword, though its true effective range is more akin to a gladius or a short-sword. However, despite the physical wear and tear of this rusted and burned blade, its magic still functions to this day. With a swing of its blade, a beam of magic can be fired. He does not utilize this weapon very often though, preferring his spear.
Deku Spear: An enchanted spear made from Deku wood. It is able to sever the connection between user and spell, allowing the spear to affect magic itself and even punch through magic barriers.
Hookshot: A springloaded chain that uses a sharpened edge to dig into an area and pull the owner towards it as a surprisingly quick speed. It has a chain twenty feet long. Its sharpened edge makes it a useful weapon when needed.
Gale Boomerang: A boomerang enchanted by the fairies with the power of wind. Throwing it not only attaches moderate wind damage to the boomerang, but also deals extra damage to aerial enemies.

[attr="class","resetapptext"]Dragonforged Armor: A full suit of armor forged in the flames of Eldin utilizing the remains of the ancient dragon Volvagia and the magics bestowed upon it by Volvagia's soul and the blessings of the Deku Tree. Composed of dragon hide, scale,
and bone, it is a suit that covers almost his entire body without heavily hindering his movement. As he becomes more in tune with the soul of Volvagia and the body that remains, Volga is able to channel more of the dragon's power through himself and his equipment.

- Base Effect: Due to the high durability of dragons, armor crafted from its body carries similar durability. Completely negates damage from weapons that cannot pierce its hide and allows him to ignore minor magic damage.
- Korok Armor Reforge Effect: Passively heals Minor damage each turn while worn.
- Upgrade 1 Effect: Confers full immunity to standard fire damage, including lava. The natural durability of the armor applies, but the magic from his draconic soul extends this benefit to the portions of his body not covered by armor as well as his gear. Does not apply to those he carries.
