With the defeat of Selos, Lion of Thorns, by Dieter Wolfram, Link, King Zitos of the Zora, and Alexander Elessar, Ordon has been saved from any potential harm. For just a bit, Hyrule returns to its peaceful slumber while the life of a teenage girl continues uninterrupted. Meanwhile, after the massacre of the Twilight Realm by the Abomination, the Twili are still reeling from the disappearance of their beloved Sovereign; Princess Midna, hoping to find her somewhere in the Light Realm before the Abomination does and devours her, or worse.

All that remains are half destroyed buildings, the Spring of Eldin, and a massive crater where the bomb shop once stood. It is still surrounded by cliffs on all sides, but its vibrant life is gone, leaving people only to rebuild.
